I don’t often grant requests. When I do, it means the person who made the request is special to me.
This post is for my homegirl Lady QB from Marseille, France. Longtime Thirst Mobbers may remember her from “We Are The World.” She lives, breathes and eats Hip-Hop culture… check out her blog QB Stapleton and watch her spin records every Tuesday at 3pm, live on RADIO KONDZE.
Me and QB had brunch in Manhattan this past weekend (she might as well move to NYC as much as she’s been out here lately). She’s a fan of Royal Flush, who used to roll with Mic Geronimo’s crew on now-defunct Blunt Records. I shot a lil’ video of Royal Flush performing “Iced Out Medallons” (his most popular joint, featuring a hook by Noreaga) at DJ Toshi’s Webster Hall Show but due to technical difficulties, I couldn’t post it before.
Once Lady QB heard that I worked out the kinks with this clip, she wanted me to post it. So here it is, just for her. The rest of ya’all ain’t gotta feel left out… if you dig 90′s rap and want to watch this video for nostalgic purposes, feel free.
